Hi, I'm IyanuOluwa Owoseni
I build interfaces
people actually use.
3 years shipping production-grade frontends and Web3 products. I care about the gap between a great design and a great product, and I close it.
I turn complex problems
into clean interfaces.
I'm IyanuOluwa, a expectional frontend developer based in Nigeria. I started building for the web because I was frustrated by how many products looked great in Figma but fell apart in the browser. That gap between design and working code is where I live.
Over the past 3 years I've shipped production apps across fintech, SaaS, and Web3, from a mission-driven nonprofit site to a cyber-command dashboard to wallet-connected DeFi interfaces. The common thread: I care about the user experience as much as the code quality.
My move into Web3 wasn't a trend-chase. I got curious about what it actually takes to build trustless systems and ended up learning Solidity, contributing to open-source blockchain projects, and building DEX and NFT marketplace UIs from scratch. I understand both sides of the stack.
Frontend interfaces and Web3 products — from design system to deployed app.
I start with the user problem, not the tech stack. Clean code and clear communication throughout.
Accessibility, performance, and shipping things that actually work in production.
Quick facts
- Nigeria — available remotely
- Open to full-time, contract & freelance
- 3+ years building for the web
Currently
Deepening my Web3 frontend skills — building more complex DeFi UIs and exploring cross-chain wallet patterns. Also improving my system design knowledge for larger-scale frontend architectures.
What I'm looking for
- Teams that care about code quality
- Products with real users and real stakes
- Environments where I can keep growing
- Remote-first or hybrid setups
Beyond the screen
I mentor junior developers, write about frontend patterns, and occasionally contribute to open-source. Outside tech — football, music, and long conversations about how the internet should work.

Tooling & Workflow
How I build, test, and ship.
I'm always learning. If your stack isn't listed here, ask me — I pick up new tools quickly and have done it before.
Not just what I built —
why it mattered.
11 projects across Web2 and Web3. Select any from the list to read the full breakdown — the problem, the approach, and what I built.
Select project
Security teams drown in data. Luminary solves that by organizing cluster intelligence, consistency scheduling, and telemetry into a single, navigable mission-control surface — built with the same care you'd expect from enterprise tooling.
The Challenge
Translating a complex, multi-layer data model into a UI that feels fast and navigable — without hiding critical information behind too many clicks.
My Approach
Built a persistent command rail for instant section jumps, modular card components for each data domain, and a Consistency Chain enrollment modal that handles the full signup flow in one focused overlay. Every interaction is animated with Framer Motion to feel responsive, not flashy.
What I built
- Persistent command rail with icon nav across 5 sections
- Consistency Chain modal — full enrollment flow in one overlay
- Cluster intel board with skill matrix tiles and execution metrics
- Career progression chart and study-time grid
- Fully responsive from mobile to ultrawide
How I can help
your team ship faster.
Four focused services — each one built around a specific type of problem. If your need doesn't fit neatly into a category, reach out. I'm flexible.
Frontend Engineering
From Figma to production — fast, accessible, and built to last.
I build React and Next.js applications that perform well, look sharp, and hold up under real-world conditions. Whether you're starting from scratch or inheriting a codebase, I write code that your future self — or your next developer — will thank you for.
What's included
- React & Next.js (App Router, SSR, SSG)
- TypeScript with strict typing
- Component libraries & design systems
- API integration & data fetching
- Performance & Core Web Vitals
- Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA)
Web3 Frontend & Smart Contracts
Blockchain UX that non-crypto users can actually navigate.
Web3 products fail when the UX assumes the user already understands blockchain. I bridge that gap — building wallet-connected interfaces that feel as intuitive as any Web2 app, backed by Solidity contracts that are clean, tested, and auditable.
What's included
- Wallet connection (MetaMask, RainbowKit)
- Smart contract UI via Ethers.js
- ERC-20 / ERC-721 token interfaces
- DeFi dashboards — swaps, staking
- Solidity contracts & Foundry testing
- On-chain state & real-time updates
UI Implementation & Design Systems
Pixel-perfect implementation with the performance to match.
Great design deserves great implementation. I translate Figma files into responsive, animated interfaces that match the design intent — not just the static mockup. I also build component libraries and design systems that scale as your product grows.
What's included
- Figma-to-code with pixel-perfect fidelity
- Responsive, mobile-first layouts
- Framer Motion animations
- Tailwind CSS design token systems
- Reusable component libraries
- Dark mode & theming support
Technical Consulting & Code Review
A second pair of eyes from someone who has shipped production code.
Sometimes you don't need a full build — you need someone to review your architecture, unblock a performance issue, or help your team level up. I offer focused consulting engagements for teams who want honest, actionable technical feedback.
What's included
- Frontend architecture review
- Performance audit & roadmap
- Code review with written feedback
- Developer mentoring
- Tech stack evaluation
- Accessibility audit & remediation

Giving back to the
community that taught me.
I've contributed to open-source Web3 projects — shipping real improvements to codebases used by other developers. Here's what I worked on and why it mattered.
Soropad Launchpad
Merged PRContributed UI improvements and bug fixes to the Soropad Launchpad — an open-source Web3 launchpad platform. PR #139 addressed a layout inconsistency in the project listing flow.
ChainLogistics
Merged PRShipped frontend improvements to ChainLogistics — a blockchain-based supply chain platform. PR #198 improved the transaction history component's responsiveness and accessibility.
Bridge Watch
Merged PRContributed to Bridge Watch — a cross-chain bridge monitoring tool. PR #426 added a new status indicator component and improved the real-time update flow in the bridge activity feed.
Why open source matters to me: Every tool I use daily was built by someone who shared their work freely. Contributing back — even in small ways — is how I stay connected to the broader engineering community and keep learning from codebases more complex than my own.

"Asked the right questions upfront"
IyanuOluwa delivered a clean, well-structured frontend that was easy to hand off to the rest of the team. He asked the right questions upfront, flagged edge cases we hadn't considered, and the responsive design was exactly what we needed.

"Non-crypto users could navigate without a tutorial"
The wallet integration and smart contract UI were handled professionally. The code was readable, well-commented, and the UX was intuitive enough that our non-crypto users could navigate it without a tutorial. That's harder than it sounds.

"Flagged a performance issue before it hit production"
Delivered on time, communicated clearly throughout, and proactively flagged a performance issue before it became a problem in production. That kind of ownership is rare. Would work with again without hesitation.
